This beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.
The space
This Self-Catering lodge blends modern comforts and traditional farm house, with 2bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and a relaxing living room, comfort is around every corner. Outside there is a large covered barbecue and seating area, ideal for al fresco dining, or for a cosy night in by the wood burner. A few minutes’ away is the village of Kinnitty, at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, where there are hiking trails for all ages to get off the beaten track and enjoy the spectacular views of the Midlands from an elevated position.
These lodges are not suitable for children under 12 years of age, without prior consultation. The host doesn’t allow pets, parties, or smoking.
